When you use these skills you can make your online experience a lot better because it makes your participation a lot smoother like when writing a blog post you can use the persuasion skill and make it so the reader will understand your blog and they might like it even more. Using the curation skill, you can also use this in a blog post by helping you organise your blog and once again making it easier for the reader to see and find information. You can use the discussion skill to help with editing a wikipedia page because you need to have good information on that page and with that you could spark a discussion. Self presentation is also a great skill to have when editing a wiki page or forming a blog post. In my opinion the self presentation is the most important skill since it is so useful in almost everything you do online. Overall this quote talks about the skills required to participate digitally and the skills that you need to help you succeed and make it so the reader understands and enjoys your writing. Each one of these skills helps you prepare to make your online participation the best it possibly can, if you use these skills then you will know what you are doing when it comes to online participation.
