Comment:I chose this quote because I did not realize that star wars was a kind of remix. I thought it was very interesting that star wars took techniques from flash gordon like the opening title scenes where they have a brief introduction of what is going to happen throughout the movie. I also found it very interesting that when I looked at the original version I had no idea existed because of how popular star wars is. I thought that star wars created this technique, I think that this shows that almost all movies have some sort of remix in them that most people probably never realize. When I look into Star Wars even more I see how many scenes are some sort of remix, like the scene where Obi-wan cuts off a guy’s arm in a bar which is part of a remix from the movie Yojimbo. I feel like because of this video whenever I watch a movie I will now look out for a scene that could be remixed from another movie. Overall I find it crazy that most movies have remixes in them, after watching this video I have learned a lot on how movies incorporate remixes into their movie and how it goes smoother with the remixed scene.
