This relates environmentally since once these recycling bins start to overflow they then spill and some even get blown by the wind into the ocean, this would the cause animals and bacteria in the ocean to get hurt or even killed. One solution is that the recycling bin has an automated opening and when the bin is full the lid does not open. Consumerism relates to environmental issues, for example this coffee maker provides a lot of waste since when you get a coffee you use a disposable cup which makes waste and then that waste is bad for the environment. Many products have a lot of waste which is bad for the environment since it builds up and is hard to break down.
